Abdomen-Extended Instructor, Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
The UMBC's Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (DMSP) is a non-credit certificate program preparing completers to sit for the National Registry Exams in Sonography. The Instructor is responsible for updating and teaching all content in the accredited curriculum as well as ensuring classroom and scan lab instruction leads to successful students in clinical rotations. The Instructor is an important part of the team maintaining the program quality as well as offering an outstanding experience for students.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in high-energy astrophysics in the Department of Physics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). The successful applicant will work with Dr. Adi Foord on observational and computational studies of supermassive black hole growth, with a particular focus on galaxy mergers and the identification of dual and binary active galactic nuclei.

THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, BALTIMORE COUNTY (UMBC) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry. Applicants are expected to establish a vigorous and externally funded research program in the broadly defined areas of Physical Chemistry and optical spectroscopy with particular interests in ultrafast spectroscopy, photochemistry and/or quantum optics. Candidates should have an outstanding record of scientific achievement, demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals. The successful applicant should have a PhD and postdoctoral research experience and will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate (PhD and MS) levels with particular interests in physical chemistry.
